Maria Jacobson

My name is Maria Jacobson, and I am one of the two Circuit Administrators for the Dorset South & West Circuit. My family and I have found our home in United Church Dorchester after moving to the town in 2001, and I am active at UCD in various groups, including as a co-opted steward.
I work as administrator part-time, fitting it in with my main job as Dorset Home Library Service Manager with the Royal Voluntary Service, and occasional work as Internal Verifier with Dorset County Council's Youth Work Training.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my children when they are home from university, reading, all sorts of crafts, and spending time outside whenever I can. I love animals, and currently have two guinea pigs called Fili and Kili who get a cuddle when life gets too frustrating.
